The membership fee is $100 (Full Member), $75 (Associate Member) and $50 (Individual Member) per year. The period for membership is recurring annually, from 1 March – 31 April the following year.
For 2025 all members will be paying 50% off for a validity period of 6 months from 1st November 2025 to 31st April 2026.
Individual membership is open to all competing & non-competing individual.An Individual Member shall be any person above twelve (12) years of age, who is willing to observe the rules and regulations of SA(S). Applicants who are below eighteen (18) years of age must have the written consent of their parent or guardian.
Associate Membership shall be organisations, clubs, institutions, schools, academies, and surfing clubs that are willing to observe the rules and regulations of SA(S) but are not eligible for Full Membership.
Associate Members shall be entitled to attend as an observer and speak at all SA(S)’s General Meetings but shall have no voting rights at any such General Meetings.
Full Membership shall be legal entities registered in Singapore with the Registry of Societies (ROS) or the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) and Government Ministries and Statutory Boards that are willing to observe the rules and regulations of SA(S).
Full Members shall be involved in the promotion, training and / or development of Surfing in Singapore.
Full Members shall have full voting rights at SA(S)’s General Meetings.
Admission as a Full Member shall be approved by a special resolution at an AGM and any such newly admitted Full Member may only exercise their voting rights at subsequent General Meetings.
