Youth Development Squad - Empowering Young Surfers

YDS  is a comprehensive youth surf development program designed for intermediate surfers to foster a lifelong passion for surfing, promote physical and mental well-being, and develop talented young surfers for competition.

 

Our Mission:

To provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for youth to learn, grow, and thrive.

Program Objectives:

 

1. Develop fundamental surfing skills and techniques.

2. Promote physical fitness, mental resilience, and emotional well-being.

3. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement.

4. Identify and nurture talented young surfers for competition.

5. Foster a positive and inclusive surfing culture.

- Groms (6-10 years)

- Juniors (11-14 years)

- Youths (15-18 years)

- Beginner (fundamentals)
